Default Brake booster push rod adjustment

After searching for a while, I have found how to adjust the push rod. The problem is its too tight in there( under the dash) to work and see what im wrenching at. I tried today and it seems my arms are too long for the job. Anybody have some tips for making the adjustment a little bit easier? Should I just remove the booster and adjust it outside?

Push the seat all the way back. Or remove it.
