Will an ITR steering wheel fit on my ek?
Are you seriously going to change a column, rag joint and everything else just to put this wheel in your ride..?
It would be cheaper just to get a EK9 wheel thats plug and play

Yeah, get a proper one for your ride. Out of an EK. Fits right on, and some even have airbags so you can keep your functioning SRS.
Thing is i can get the steering wheel for 80 and the steering colum for 40 thats $120. And the ek9 steering wheels are ridiculousy over priced, the cheapest i seen them for is $225 and up to $400.

the RSX runs a dual stage SRS system and civic does not. There will be wiring involved if you go this route. Even then, we still don't know if they still function correctly after that.
The EG colum is not a direct bolt in.
It wont be as easy as buying it and bolting it in.

When you say function correctly do you mean like the airbag wont deploy? or what kind of problems do you think i would have if i install an rsx steering wheel?

Possibly.
I will say, to my knowledge there no one has had issues with doing it, BUT, there is still a chance.

I've wanted to do the rsx wheel swap, swapping the civic single stage air bag ignitor/inflator into the rsx wheel so I can keep the airbag functionality in my civic. lots of write ups on how to do this.. but I dont know of anyone who has done this swap AND had the airbag go off in an accident or whatever.... my concern was that maybe the inflation rate/volume may be different and the airbag may not fully deploy in the rsx wheel or overinflate.
I've searched and have not read or seen anything to confirm/deny what happens to the rsx bag with the civic ignitor. it could be perfectly fine but again not seen or heard of what happened after the ignitor swap.

Your making harder then it really is.
This only applys for USDM RSX/EP bags, JDM is totaly plug and play with our cars!
Really all you have to do is cut/splice/solder the civics 2 way plug onto the RSX air bag.
The rsx bags have a high speed charge, and a low speed charge, you want to keep the low speed, and remove the high speed charges wires completely.
