Starting problems after zc swap
Here is the story. I swapped out my d15b2 with a dohc zc blacktop. the swap and wiring went smoothly. I jumped in to start and I was getting a code 20. I swapped the two wires on the dizzy as per a zcr forum thread stated to do with a no start. That solved my problem with the code 20. As of right now I have check all the wiring, all the grounding, the timing is on, I am getting spark, and fuel to the rail. The injectors are not firing. I have done some trouble shooting and I am not getting voltage to the injectors. I am not getting any codes and everything seems normal. I turn the key the relay and pump kick on the CEL shuts off after two seconds etc. Any advice on where to go from here other than the junk yard.
Please help.
On a side not I am getting a new ecu to try that this weekend.

The stock zc injectors and yes I am running the resistor box. I did all the dpfi to mpfi wiring. I did continuity checks on the connections and ohmed out the injectors and resistor box. all were good.
most likely a problem with the wiring from DPFI to MPFI
code 20 has nothing to do with the distributor - usually a code 20 is a problem with the alternator
the DOHC ZC swap into the DPFI cars requires no wiring changes at the distributor itself - the DPFI engine harness distributor connectors plug right into the DOHC ZC distributor and all of the wires are in the correct locations - you shouldn't switch any of the wires
use the attached DPFI to MPFI swap guide for the DOHC ZC into the DPFI cars and check all of your wiring

I recently swapped a sohc zc for my d16, now I have a white smoke problem big time from the tail pipe. Ran a combustion leak test and came up negative for a blown head gasket, any help? Thanx

Don't get all thin skinned and soft on me meow. Just having a fun poke around the forum.
Op, white smoke is usually coolant. But if you're not losing any, it could just be the natural and perfectly normal accumulation of moisture that builds in every exhaust system burning off.

The white smoke is really bad, I drive down the block and I white smoke out the neighborhood. :-( does anyone think it could be because its way out of time? And by the way I don't have a check engine light or throwing any codes. Thanx
