It almost doesn't matter which. go as cheap as possible to get the tubing and clamps (eBay is fine) put the filter on the shelf and replace it with a good quality universal filter from K&N or the like.

if you want it to look like you spent $250 on a $15 intake, paint the tubing krinckle black, replace the neon colored breather hose with regular black rubber hose and hide the neon couplers with some black electrical tape (...really, if you do a good job wrapping the tape you'll never even notice the couplers are there. it's lasted 5 years so far on mine and my wifes car)

enjoy the noise!

they aren't bad products, but unless you're trying to get your car on the cover of a magazine i can't see how you would justify spending $300 on a bent tube and a cone filter.

I havent been able to find an intake with either of those brands...I know its not this hard to find an intake for a V6 engine...

the C27 isn't a very popular motor for tuning. infact it can be hard just finding regular replacement parts for it.. the after market is next to non-exsistant.

you may need to take some measurements, find something similar and get creative.

I agree that a swap wouldn't be a good idea. the front end of the V6 chassis for your model is slightly different from the 4cyl. what I understand is that it's possible to swap without major modification, but selling what you've got and buying a 4cyl is much easier.

the 2.7 V6 has more torque compared to the 4cyl but not much more HP and not a lot of potential - unless you're a powertrain engineer on a mission to prove yourself. The 4cyl with a DOHC head (or H22 swap) would already have more power than the V6 has stock. Also with the 4cyl there are fewer moving parts, they're easier to work on, they have great potential and good support... there are good reasons why there is no after market for the C27.

take it or leave it, but if it were me it would come down to my willingness to sell the V6 accord and buy a 4cyl equipped model to add performance upgrades. If I wasn't willing to do that I'd keep the V6 and just maintain it.
