Want to lower 04 acura tl (opinions)
I want to lower my wifes TL but not sure what springs to use. Or to use coilovers? Was looking at H&R lowering springs and TEIN springs vs. FUNCTION & FORM COILOVERS.
Was looking to lower it about 2" thats why I was looking at the H&R springs. But is it worth spending twice as much on Fullbodys? I know that once its lowered im not gonna adjust it but I dont wanna install springs and hate the ride or make it toooo low. Whats your guys opinion? Thanks

I would go for the coilovers because if youre not really sure about springs then you can adjust the car to whatever you fancy. I have tein springs on my lude and its lower then I would want. I would go for coilovers. Just me thinking out loud. Plus your wife might not want the tl too low.
I have the tein ss coilover kit on mine, I like it, ride is noticeably bumpier than stock but I am pretty low. I know eibach makes a good kit, i think thats what most people are using these days on the tl's. Whatever you do don't just get springs, I hate seeing people do that. Maybe if you don't care about your springs settling over time and having different heights in all four corners. But that would really bother me, plus I like to be able to raise and lower my suspension for different seasons or tires/rim combos. I just think its a waste to spend money on springs if your already going to be taking the suspension apart you mine as well do it right the first time.
the tein spring setup is good. still has stock struts so it still maintains a decent ride for the wife. I have ksport coilovers on my 05 and it rides really nice. plus the height and dampening adjust makes it nice too. another friend of mine has the tein coilover setup and it seems like a lil rought ride than mine.
I would go with adjustable coils (like Tein SS), because it's your wife's car. If it rides too stiff or jiggly, you can always adjust it to her liking. Otherwise, no nookie.
