It has only a couple small rust spots on the rear 1/4's. New winter tires, new brakes, 2 new shocks, newer windsheild, original bill of sale, service records and more!!! Only 1 person owned it before me. I'm pretty happy about it.... Now the fun begins

I just bought one last month for $800 with the only problem being the full exhaust is missing. Don't feel bad about your goofy loud muffler, mine shakes windows!

Plans? H&R springs, possibly some Tokicos, strut bar, sway bar.... I've got to get some decent 15" tires for the spring.... AFTER I do all that stuff I'll be working in the engine area....

I picked up a 90 si hatch a month ago for $700. Cheap and has very little rust. About a yr ago I bought an 89 crx si for $400. 2 cars for $1100. Funny as hell.

 

I have the oppurtunity to buy a 89 hatch auto for $500. Is this a deal worth jumping on? Obviously the motor will get pulled, but the rest should be worth $500, right? Also, is there any difference in suspension between the si's and this one?

 

Get it!!! The Si have a rear sway bar.... I dun think DX and CX do.... Other than that I THINK they are the same.

Its nice when you get cars for cheap. ESPECIALLY when the story about this car was that it NEEDED AN ENGINE!!! Or a head. hahahah A guy a work helped me out a bit to get the car, he changed the plugs, moved the throttle cable cuz it was moved to the wrong spot. It held the engine wide open so it caused it to floud, Hmmm maybe thats why it wouldn't start My dad drove it to work today and he said it's great, but I already knew that it's a Honda

I got mine two weeks ago for 250$. its also a 91 dx its auto but I pulled the motor got one for free from a friend who went b16 and now all im waitin on is pedals.

pretty much dumb luck. and even though the door was messed up my ole man's a body man so it was a neasy fix and for 250 i couldnt pass it up.

 

ive got lucky a few times....but the other day i saw a black civic SI sitting in a drivway it looked broken down ..so i knocked ont the door. It was blown up, gaping rust holes, rusted out door jambs...but she only wanted (wait for it)........2500$...WTF!!??
