disc brake convserion hangup
ok picked up a shell for 200 bucks, and got what i paid for, but has already had a disc brake conversion done to it,
ok, lets list what is done
disc brake are already on full bolted up, have new LCA coming in to replace old ones.
have DA front knuckles and ingules camber kit to correct camber issues,
but also have stock sI 91 knuckles off an crx
installed the 4040 value. now heres where i cant do the front knuckles, i haven't yet swapped in a b-series motor as you know the ef cable trans have smaller splines on the cv-axles then the rest of the hubs from 90+ integras and 92+ civics
so my big question is, now that most of the brake conversion is done can i just go ahead and use my stock 13/16 master cylinder and brake booster for now with the rear disc brakes and my stock front breaks until i swap in a b-series and move to the da knuckles
or i do i need to use the da front knuckles along with the rear disc brakes. mind you ive seen people half *** the conversion only to the point of just bolting on the new rear brakes and bleeding them, no 4040 prop or 15/16 mc or better BB or bigger front brakes
but the braking system is the most important part on the car so i need to triple check everything
i also have the Non ABS 15/16 DA master cylinder and going to get a DA non abs brake booster to
so what do you guys think? run it or just swap in a hydro tranny and get the other cv-axles and use the other knuckles and just go and do the rest of the conversion?
thanks for reading guys and hope to help you all out aswell

Unless you have an HF, the DA knuckles should work with your current axles. You can run it as is or finish the conversion and do it right, the choice is yours.
ill have to check it out maybe your right. But i just checked and found i ordered he integra da master so i need the brake booster aswell, so ill check to see if the hubs match up to the splines on the 1.5 cable axels
92-95 Civics have the same size axles on the hub size as 88-91, except for the CRX HF and Civic STD.
I've put a '94 Civic EX axle in a '89 CRX DX and a '93 Civic DX axle in a '88 CRX Si.
EDIT: And DA axles fit 88-95 Civic hubs... You have to pop the dust ring out though.
But not the HF/STD of course.
