Hey guy I kinda have the same question, I have a 96 civic ex 5 speed with a 99-00 motor I bought the car this way it runs good and got it to pass smog but now I'm having a problem with it when I start it on cold nights/morning and go to take off before its warmed up it surges a bit but I let it warm up before I take off its fine. Could this be the air assist? I changed idle control valve, full tune up and has the valves adjusted. Any Ideas? I'm also gonna order a skunk2 intake manifold for it will this bypass the air assist?
