Default Reassembling Y7 Head

I took the rocker arms and camshaft off my y7 head to get it cleaned and resurfaced the other day because I'm in the process of changing my head gasket.

Do I just put motor oil on everything, and even soak the bolts in motor oil before I torque them down? Would I just use an extra bottle I have that I intended to use on changing my oil with? (Royal Purple/ Mobil 1)

Also, I'm reading my Haynes manual and it tells me:
"11. Coat the camshaft lobes and journals with camshaft installation lubricant. Apply anaerobic-type sealant to the cylinder head contact surfaces of bearing caps 1 and 5 and install rocker arm assembly"

I don't quite understand this..... what would the item I need to purchase to make this step 11 .... happen; and how would I do that?

Also, when I finish assembling the rocker arms, do I just push them all down towards the valve springs (i haven't adjusted anything, only took off the bolts that hold down the rocker arms) and they'll reset themselves when I start up and drive again?

The lobes and journals need lube due to no oil in fresh motor when first starting and you don't want to have the metal to metal contact without lube. If your asking how to
Lube or which is which the perfect circles where it's bolted down are the journals and the egg shapes pushing the rocker arms to actuate the valves are the lobes. Just use your finder and lube it up.

Oh and the manual should have how to set the valves as well in essence what you described is correct but while your there you might as well check with a feeler guage and set your valves.

What's recommended for the "anaerobic-type sealant". Typical Engine Assembly lube?
I'm just gonna put the head together, throw it back on my block within the next 3-5 hours, change coolant and oil, and then fire up the car in maybe 6 hours from now. I read that it's okay to use motor oil as long as the engine doesn't sit.

Really need to know because I need to start working on my car asap

On brand new engine yes on yours? You take your chances on burning or scourging it if you don't. Roll the dice and take your chances. For the sealant I use permatex. 1 and 5 being the ends get the sealant. Where and why ? Without seeing pic in the book. I havenot done this on a Honda but will be soon on my daughters del sol. Have oil in spark plug boots. Only worked on Chevy and Mitsubishi.

Those are the ends the ends that hold camshaft, people generally put a bit of gasket sealant at the point where the round meets the head! Valve cover gaskets don't do the best at that point

Just got my Haynes and chiltons manuals for my del sol and the front of the Haynes manual under chemicals and lubricants explains sealants. Says anaerobic is like rtv for forming gaskets or to seal gaskets but rtv needs air to cure and anaerobic cures in the absence of air only after the assembly of parts sealing them together. Thought you might like to know the why.
