Is it a key or something its a metal piece or plate...what is it called? Can find it out or is it important

You can get that key from any honda dealer for cheap too. I lost mine, made one, then bought one.

No its like a washer behind crank pulley..not the little half moon looking thing....will any d series fit? Or specific ones?

The "washers" you are speaking of are Timing Belt Guides. They are concave and the raised edge faces AWAY from the timing belt. Put them on backwards and it WILL eat the belt up extremely fast. They are #12 in the link provided...
