Need help removing sticker
Hey guys. Under my left tail light on the same strip of body as the ITR sticker (on the right) lies a dealer ship badge/ sticker. It's in multiple pieces as each letter is separated, and seems like its thin metal. I want to remove this from my car since it's tacky and would like help in how I would do it safely.
I will tomorrow. I'm not talking about the Type R sticker, I'm saying the dealer badge/name plate is on the same strip of body. The dealer sticker is in individual pieces for every letter. You'll see what I mean when I can snap a pic.
EDIT:

Found one on the computer. If you can see it, it's that little black one under the left tail light.

id reccomend you take it to a body shop or reputable detail person... You most likely have to heat it up and carefully take it off w/o damage and for some strange reason I dont think you have the patients to be a help yourself kinda guy ,i could be wrong (no disrespect intended) GL..
I used do this all the time at the dealership when we delivered cars transferred from another dealership. We'd have to remove their badge and apply ours.
Use a heat gun and slowly warm up the adhesive until the vinyl letter can be picked by a fingernail and peel it off.
After you've removed all the letters, use an adhesive remover from 3M or Wurths applied to a soft cloth. The Wurths worked really well so I'd recommend it over the 3M.
I'd say 10 minutes max for the work you're doing.

Yeah, thats easy. I just use hari dryer( if you dont have a heat gun) then use floss to pull the badge up then use some thing like goo gone to get the tacky **** off.
Or, just go to a body shop and let them do it for 50 bucks lol.

Thanks guys. I'll ask Acura if they can do it today for me, I'm going to them to get something checked out. And R Boy Fresh, why do you think that? I've been thinking about doing this for 2 months I have more than enough patience for my baby!

The proper way is to use the gum eraser by 3m. Just take it to a body shop and give them 20 bucks to take it off and polish it afterwards.
I do this all the time just like everyone says. Use hairdryer heat gun etc. and remove the left over adhesive with goo gone goof off etc. Wax and polish boom its mint!!! dont waste money to bring it to the shop.
Because it doesn't solvate the adhesive well enough and if you rub too much, thinking it'll help take it off, it'll scratch the paint to a light haze.
If it is raised like hard plastic use a little dental floss and light sawing motion, then use a soft cloth and some rubbing alcohol to remove the adhesive, if that doesn't work goo gone or the 3m above.
You can use a hair dryer but do not leave it in one spot too long.
Most of the time if you hand it off they will not be as careful as you would be unless it is a detailer.
