B18c1 tune help
Ok im trying to figure out something that i can do for my build. I was hoping to get enough taxes to finish it with the cams and all that I want but don't think i will be able to now to the point my motor is a

Ok...So i was gonna get good cams n springs and hondata and tune it but dont think ill have enough for all of it so i wanna know my options as far as ecu and tune software goes. How much power would this set as is put with a good tune on 93 octane? Would it be a strong and reliable setup with those cams and pistons together with a tune, I just wanna make sure that if I were to take this setup as is and get the ecu and tune would it be a great setup please help I cant find anything on this thanks.

I don't see the point of a high comp motor with B16 cams. Although you will need a tune to drive it so it's kind of a moot point if you can't afford the cams and need the engine running.
For tuning you can get detailed info on your options from searching. Crome + Demon is probably the cheapest option, but I'm going to go out on a limb and guess you aren't going to tune this yourself. That being the case just go to a local tuner and get a chip burned.

blox b cams, dual valve springs, supertech retainers. best bang for your buck. blox c cams would give you better power. look around on prices. blox is common to find at an affordable price. i got my blox c $250 barely used, blox dual valve springs $100, supertech retainers $90. or you can do itr? but with those pistons id go blox type c. eagle rods arent needed on gsr all motor set up. aem cam gears suck. i got my blox cam gears for $100 used. 3 bolt cam gears tend to slip. 5 & 6 bolt is better.

Damn you got a nice deal on that stuff ya im trying to find some parts that are new from friends that are parting out builds and havent used them and stuff. I was told type B blox cams but if im gonna see more numbers out of type c's then thats where i wanna be, and i have a site thats offerings blox dual springs and retainers for 250 n i thought that was an awesome deal, yea i also get a lot of mixed feelings on the cam gears im not die hard over them but the motor came with everything the way it sits and i though i bought a stock gsr with cam gears and mugen valve cover but i found out different when i tore it apart. If i can get a hella deal on my cams,springs,and retainers i wanna buy a blox itr replica intake mani and skunk2 tbody but thats if itll be in my range. as far as ecu goes i seen they sell those chipped ones on phearable.com and i believe the guy emailed me back saying they are chipped with chrome n set to me with a base map then they need a tune. Id rather have a hondata setup instead on it .I seriously want to be able to buy these parts and get into the 200whp range thats my goal but if i have to tune it as it sits what would my power go down for

Thats good stuff bud its good to know people in the area. So i would just get like a P28 or something along those lines and take it to my tuner and say I want ..whatever chip and tune done right? ok to the Blox itm i prob wont be able to swing the itm into this deal but hope to get the rest of it dont. So without the cams and springs with a tune whats the possible hp and what will it be with those goodies

your not gonna get much power to be honest. cam gears are useless without the camshafts. itm is a must for more airflow. gsr head or b16 head? if b16 get an itr itm. its almost as good as blox. most ppl use p28. easiest to chip and tune on any set up. if you cnt afford top of the line chips/tuning products just go with the common chrome. downgrade of hondata. where are you located at? i have some oem itr dual valve springs if your interested. if you have paypal and all. lemme kno. $120 plus shipping.
