For sale:

THE CAR WILL HAVE ALREADY BEEN SMOGGED BEFORE THE SALE

1992 Honda Civic hatchback - CX
previous owner painted it Navy blue - original color is white

****History and important info:****

--I've owned the car since 2000
--this is not an unfinished project car. it is fully functional and was my daily driver until i bought my Honda Element In Jan 2012. I am selling because my family is growing and will be driving the Element now.
--purchased about 138,000 miles
--currently has 265,550 miles
--SALVAGED TITLE - previous owner told me it was a theft recovery - he lied to me, i was young and dumb. I later found out the car has what appears to be rear end damage. I've never taken the rear bumper off in the 12 years I've had the car, but from inside the trunk, you can see what appears to be patch work.
--car runs great, idle is good, does not burn oil
--no significant body damage - almost always garaged and park far from others when out.
--no a/c
--no power steering
--no power windows
--no radio - 3 gauges in its place - voltmeter, oil temp, and oil pressure (not hooked up)
--baretta alarm system
--shade 2 titanium tint

****Power train****
--JDM 1992 B16 motor - purchased from HMO, installed by Raceline Development in Temple City (shop always used in Super Street magazine) - 110k on the motor (assuming motor had 30k when swapped back in 2004 when the car had about 188k miles)
--the motor has a very minor oil leak from the cam seal (the shop didnt seal it right when I took it in for the major tune-up). It doesn't bother me, so i never fixed it. If anything, it's just a nuisance since it makes the motor dirty.
--GSR 5-speed Transmission - no grinds at all - the occasional down-shift is always rev-matched

****I/H/E****
--stock air box with K&N filter
--dc 4-2-1 ceramic header
--custom piping, high flow cat, magnoflow 2.25 straight-through muffler which attaches the same way as the stock muffler does
--stock muffler will be included

****Suspension****
-- all work below done in the summer of 2008:
----OEM Acura integra LCA - purchased to install integra rear sway bar that i purchased off H-T
----all around integra brakes - new rotors and pads
----RSR lowering spring
----koni blue shocks
----skunks front camber kit
----megan rear camber kit
----falken 912 tires (205-50-15) - driven 27k on them so far
--neuspeed front tower brace

****Interior****
--The pictures show no passenger seat because I took it out to access my baby seat in the back easier.
--The car will come with driver and passenger del sol seats (passenger seat was never installed when purchased)
--The car will also come with the stock navy blue vinyl driver (rips on left bolter and bottom)and passenger seats
--oem honda cargo cover
--the diamond plate in the driver side floor mat will not be included (it was a gift that i am keeping)

****Cosmetics****
--Carbon Fiber hood with hood pins - Blue = 1 of a kind.
--clear GLASS headlights
--Honda OEm front bumper bra (used) - included - did not ever install since i purchased off another H-T member

****Maintenance****
--I personally do most of my own maintenance and repairs, if any
--ngk iridium sprk plugs changed during the last oil change.
--recently did the 90-110k maintenance at L&T auto. timing belt, water pump, etc. $450 -I have receipt if you like.

my car is never abused - I never redline my car and vtec is seen less than 10 times a year (I don't like to waste gas)

I get about 30 mpg (I'm an accountant and have an excel spreadsheet for everything about the car). You can get 40 MPG easily if you hypermile, I've done 3 tanks that way, but to be honest, it's an annoying way to drive. Some people don't even have the self control or patience to drive that slow!

this is it for now as it is late.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, not RACELINE!!!!!
Elton Lo has the worst people skills I have ever seen, he is lucky I didn't squash his cocky arrogant little ***. If he doesn't like you he will mess your car up bad, it seems like he likes you though so you are good. check the link

Price has been adjusted more appropriately to $2,600, OBO.

The car does not need any work to drive. If you mean the car needs a lot of work to make it look like a show car, then i couldn't agree more with you.
