damn....thats a long drive man. well...IMO its not going to effect us but i guess it would devalue the car just because its not "stock". even tho you're swapping out stock for stock parts. its just not original. i wouldn't worry about it tho. if you're planning to sale the car privately then it wouldn't matter. dealers might not even notice. heehe

It shouldnt affect it unless the buyer was looking for the red seats to be there. They are just seats.

but still the point is its not an even trade usually the entire black type R interior includeing back seats and door panels go for the price of just the 2 red seats. not worth it.

I dont know what website you got that off of. Plus, if you are selling shocks that are not brand new then you MUST knock some $ off the price because they obviously aren't new.

maybe in 20, 30 years when we're all type R afficionados, arguing over every tiny detail in what is original, authentic and what not...then the red seats might matter 
for me though, once you mention "canadian", i expect to see oem red seats, especially if i'm buying...thus affecting its value to me
