Little Red CRX is now even smaller - wrecked
The other day I was driving down the road and only doing like 30mph and slammed into the back of a fullsize van. Not a pretty site. Everything I have worked so hard on is now gone. It didnt even look like it was that much damage espicially since i have the wings west body kit in the garage waiting to get put on anyways they said it will take around $1,500 to fix it and another $1,500 to put on the body kit and paint the car, thats $3,000, thats how much I paid for the car. Well anyways I am very very upset and now I have to figure out what i should do? Invest another 3000k in it or use the motor and all the other parts in another crx, del sol, or some other car? Any opinions??
Ya'll guys have been great help and I appreciate all the info ya'll have given me.

I'm not sure if I am going to get rid of anything just yet. I am going to wait till I figure out exactly what I am going to do. But I will let you know soon.
fix the damage, put the body kit on yourself (its easy, trust me) and then paint it at maaco for $400.
your little crx will look like this and you'll be happy.

I'd say hook up with mobrep, sounds like he's got the parts you need, and I'm sure it would cost a lot less than $1500. the 1500 to install the ww kit and paint doesn't really count in the repair costs, that's a mod.
first of all, those prices are high
secondly, if they were correct, $3000 is nothing. i just put $6k into the drivetrain in my 89si (that i only paid $2k) for and the outside still looks like sin and i know there are a lot more people on here that have put way more into their crx's.
you can either:
1) fix it back and put the kit on it like you say and if it will look like MikePalm's car which gets
in my book, then hell yea!!
or
2) my suggestion, get the sir front end coversion from http://www.hondamotorsonline.com/shop/ for $600+shipping and put a decent paint job on the whole car. there are not many 4g civics in TN with the sir coversions and i have yet to see any here in the Knoxville area.

Maaco.....
.....Not bad at all for a Maaco job....How much did it cost you?
ultraurathane is a great package. Got it on my old civic, looked like it came from the factory. NO orange peel and smooth as a babys butt.
