1999 Honda civic si help
I just purchased a used complete Jackson racing supercharged kit for my b16a2. I was wondering what I could do to keep the heat temps down and is the fmu good enough for daily driver? I live in CA so the smog thing is killing me. I can't get a tuneable ecu. Can I do a mix of air/fuel controller with the fmu or is that not possible. Just want a fun, reliable daily driver that will pass smog. Did lots of research but came up with answers that didn't pertain to my question. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.
Upgrade your cooling system. I think that would be a simple thing to do. A/F controllers are junk. Also the JRSC kit is pretty much plug and play. What about it do you need modified?
Sorry to say, but didn't you give some thought to this BEFORE you bought the kit?
For CARB kits you pretty much cannot alter any parts of it, as I understand it. I think you're stuck with it as is.

Yea the kit was at a good price so I couldn't pass it up. I have done tons of research regarding this but just wanted to see if anyone out there had any other info on it. I plan on having it installed by a reputable shop and tuned by them also. Just looking for anything else I should have before I take it to get installed and tuned. Thanks
