Rear and front disk brake conversion help!
I have a '94 Civic Hatchback that has the tiny front brakes and the rear dumbs. I just got the front and rear brakes, including the e-brake, off an '99 Civic Si. This is what I got:
I have never done anything like this before and I know that I need to run brake lines to the rear. Can anyone give me some advice when doing a job like this? Maybe parts I will need or problems will run into? I will appreciate any help. Thanks

I hope you checked the calipers before you bought.
But, the swap is simple, and you can use ALL OEM Honda parts.
Use the brake line for whatever caliper you have. Integra calipers, integra lines.
Don't forget to swap in the appropriate MC and prop valve.

My advice would is to be patient. I thought this was going to be a simple job, but it isn't. It takes a bit of time. I believe you will need a 5/8 non-abs brake master cylinder, Integra brake lines, and a 40/40 Prop valve. I would also get all four rotors turned and buy new pads for all four corners.
The fronts are easy as can be its only 3 nuts and the main axle nut off ( all nuts are 17 with the exception of the axle wich is a 32)
1. Take front tires off
2. Take axle nut off (32)
3. Take the 3 nuts off (bottom of stock rotor, tie rod, and upper ball joint top of stock arm by the camber kit)
That's it's for the fronts!!!! The rears are a lil more tricky if ur by urself but if u have a helping hand it's not hard same concept with the exceptions that the arm goes underneath the car not up and down like the fronts. should be 2 14 bolts right behind the drum then there is the 2 19 or 17's and 1 more 17 where the tow bushin is ( the arm that comes off the rear disk) good luck let us know how it goes

15/16s from a '90 - '91 Civic EX sedan. Or a 15/16s MC and brake booster from a '94 - '97 Integra without ABS. The prop valve comes from a '90 - '97 Integra without ABS (if you use a '90 - '93 prop valve you will need to swap over the bracket from the original civic prop valve.)

a caliper is something Id be willing to pay for....personally Id just have purchased new calipers from napa/advanced/etc. I just put one on my car, think I paid roughly 40 bucks for it with a discount from a friend in the business, however I would be willing to spend whatever was asked for it, especially for the front. The rears Id be way more easy going with.
The guy I bought them from said the brakes were just redone a couple weeks ago so the brakes have been sitting for a while. I plan on having an extra hand because there is no way i can do this by myself. I really appreciate the help everybody! I can post pictures in different angles if it helps. Thanks again!
