Whats the average?

How much have you paid at the dealership?

The car is currently at 57k miles and has NEVER had a valve adjustment done with the other regular scheduled services (15k 30k 45k)
Mainly "visual" checks

I would think its time for an adjustment?
I mean driving the car hard must take its toll!

Change Engine Oil & Filter
Change Tranny Fluid
Replace Fuel Filter
Replace Air Filter
Replace Spark Plugs
Replace Distributor cap, rotor and inspect wires
set ignition timing and adjust cambelt
Inspect crankcase emissions
Inspect front & rear pads, rotors and calipers
Replace brake fluid, check hoses & lines
adjust parking brake
replace clutch fluid, clutch operation, adjust freeplay
adjust all belts & inspect power steering fluid
inspect suspension mounting bolts for tightness
inspect exhaust system
inspect tire wear and set tire pressure
replace engine coolant & check hoses belts
inspect battery and clean terminals
adjust alternator belt
inspect valve clearance
check wiper blades and windshield washer fluid
lube door, hood latches and hinges
rotate tire and balance

 

I just had my 60K service done this past July. I paid $370 at my Acura dealer!

 

 

I had mine done in August...Paid like Almost $500

ran better after the tune up...think the spark plug replacement helped. Got lot better gas mileage.
