Hi. I just bought set of cam which claimed to be the ITR cams by the seller, friend of mine. Can u guys help me on this on whether these are authentique JDM ITR cams. This are the photo of the ring (three ring). And there is 'J' stamped at the middle of both cam. TIA guys.

there ya go...you should take a pic of the whole cam

 

If the pic above is them, those are Gsr cams. That unfortunately is the most common set of cams passed off as itr cams. Maybe someone else can chime in. I never measured mine, but I pulled those same cams out of my all stock c1 motor, and have a few sets sitting on a shelf somewhere.

Yes Sir, those top ones are GSR's. i went through the same thing a few days ago.

 

Thanks you mr, both on the pic and the answer.well i guess i have to returned the cams. actually i already got set of BC stage 2 cam (NA), i only bought this 'ITR' cams just for spare. Gladly no payment was made yet. BTW, could anyone guessing what WHP will i gain from my minor mods. BC cams stage 2, PNP, skunk2 IM, S90 70mm TB.GSR head and block. ITR pistons (81mm).GSR crank. emanage ultimate.

Anyone have similar mod?

No my cams are 2000 usdm ITR wich are the same as CTR honda made two generation motors the first ITR motor the cams are just a lil lower then 2000 motors honda just threw in CTR cam in it.
