Default 1995 dx hatch - B or K series swap

Been out of the game for around 5 or 6 years now but I just picked up this mint hatch with auto tranny and I'm looking for people's opinions. For simplicity sake which would you swap in it? B18A/B/C fully rebuilt or a K series swap from hmo? Back when I worked on these all the time I swapped literally hundreds of B series swaps into eg's and ef's.

Remember, this is an automatic transmission car. Reason why I'm asking is I'm already stock piling parts like an SI gauge cluster and replacement shift boot console for when I switch to a manual transmission.

A B would be the easiest swap to do.

However, if you've that many swaps, I am sure you could handle a K.

A k24/k20 would make a very fun little DD. Not the most cost efective swap though.

k motors are expensive and i've never been thoroughly impressed with any b series motor unless they're built. if it were me i would drop in a b18 and throw on some bolt ons for a little extra. just dont be one of those guys that thinks they're jesus because they have a nearly stock b motor in their car lol.

My last b series swap was one I built for a guy with a pt67 turbo that produced 651hp and 600+ tq. That was 6 years ago. And intake and fart can doesn't impress me. I was just curious if the k series has come down any to make it a worth my while

Done a few h22's and the drivability never impressed me. It's like trying to stop a freight train with the size of the brakes these things have and if you've ever driven in a slalom with one you'd think twice about trying to dodge a cab driver or a jackass on his cell with one
