Default EG CF duckbill not sitting flush - flipping brackets?

Hi so recently I bought a CF duckbill from http://losangeles.craigslist.org/sgv...829976899.html same warehouse. The only problem I have which the salesman also mentioned is that the duckbill will not sit flush unless I flip the mounting brackets. I don't like to experiment on my own accord cause I usually end up ruining whatever it is so I was wondering how am I supposed to flip the brackets? Also, if there are scratches on the duckbill (I dropped it ) NOT cracks just minor scratches do I need to get it professionally recleared or is it just a simple sand and reclear? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It's not a duckbill. That is a lip.

So the salesman TOLD you that the brackets needed to be flipped and you don't believe him? Did you bother to ask the seller HOW to flip the brackets? And is this an Accord or a Civic?

BTW. Scratches can usually be buffed out if they are not too deep.

I hope you don't think that's a real Mugen lip.

I'm sorry for not being clear I bought a CF duckbill from the same company/warehouse that sells that lip. No I don't think it's a real Mugen lip lol. I have removed my stock duckbill and tried test fitting the new one there was a small gap on both sides which the seller did mention and said if you want flush fitment you need to flip the mounting brackets I guess?

Then follow the sellers instruction? What is the deal? It's a knockoff anyway. Fitment may be an issue in any case.

Why should I ask the accord guys about a duckbill going on a 92-95 Civic hatchback...?

Ahh I get ya. You said accord in two of your post and they way you used it sounded like you were speaking about a Honda Accord. The word your looking for is account or behalf.
