If I run a divided exhaust housing must I run a Divided manifold?

Thinking about running the holset hx35, but I know little of them. (as im still doing research)

I Know they come from Dodge cummings but what year?
How do I Identify one?
What is the price range ill be spending to abtain the hx35?
Can I purchase a Single exhaust housing and swap it with the orignal divided housing?

You can run with the divided housing. It works fine on any manifold.

I ran it on a open manifold for years and it was still the best spooling turbo I have ever had.
