If you bought your spoon cams brand new * i think* they should come with a paper telling you what to gap it at. I know when you buy juns they come with a little manual type thing, and it says to gap at stock settings.
Need help on this, not

Pinota,
Since the Spoon cams are fairly mild cams, I'd use stock valve lash on them unless they came with valve lash specs recommended by Spoon.

I would assume that factory R settings would work fine being the cams are very similiar! And the springs should not effect it! eric

I´ll install them with stock cam gears. Can´t get aftermarket ones right now. no $$$.
Will i have any problems of running the Spoon cams with stock cam gears and head milled ?
I´ll be running both spoon cams retarded 2 degrees. ( 0.023 inches milled head )
Will the exaust cam too retarded and will have problems with bent exaust valves ?
By the way, already got the 97+ lude injectors for my setup.
Thanks,
Pinota

try to at least put an adjustable intake cam gear to advance the intake gear a good 4 or 5 degrees.
