Brake issues on EK4 Please help.
Hi guys I have a Honda civic Si 4 door, which I am having problems with the brakes, when I come to a stop, just before the car comes to a hault the brake peddal kicks back, like the ABS is activating....
Any thoughts as to what it might be. I think it might be the Brake boost, but when I hit a bump the ABS light comes on when I switch the ignition off and on it resets its self.... Please help.

try to pull ABS codes but i doubt there will be any since the light isnt on to rule out ABS u could simply remove the fuse for it
Thanks for replying buddy, Well the ABS light comes on when I hit a slight bump. When I switch the vehicle off and the on again it resets its self, do you think its the Brake booster, I donot really brake that hard, I have EBC red stuff with a 288mm disc, but this was doing this front the time of OEM disc and pads. It just hits back on my foot with a griiii sound like the ABS is trying to activate.
Have you tried pulling the ABS code? It should still be stored in the ABS computer even though the ABS light is no longer lit after turning the engine off.
A bad booster usually results in a hard pedal. anyways, I agree with checking for a code first.. Also, check all 4 (?) of your wheel speed sensors located behind your tires. Make sure they are free of debris and are in spec..

make sure you have the proper gap, if it is too much gap, it will cause your abs to kick on for that wheel. also make sure to check for chipped or damaged teeth at the end of your axle

edit: gap should be .4 - 1mm (.02 - .04")
