Check Engine Light: IACV, only on start-ups
I've been dealing with a check engine light for the IACV for some time now. When I start her up, the check engine will illuminate. With a quick drive around, you can turn the car off and back on, and it will remain off. If the engine is warm, it will more then likely not illuminate on the start up.
Why is this happening?
Also, the car will bog/run rich for a minute or so after 12 minutes of driving. It is very consistent on when it will bogs, happening on the same stretch of highway every day. I don't know if this issue is connected. Spark plugs, plug wires, distributor, pretty much all the sensors have been replaced and have less then 4000 miles on them.

My guess is one of two things.
Maybe the IAC is malfunctioning and is gumming up when cold, but loosen up to work properly when warm. Try out a different IAC.
Or, maybe your idle is not set properly and the ECU isn't detecting the proper RPM adjustment when cold.

Try cleaning the IACV first. Reset idle if necessary.
This is all you ever wanted to know about IACV>>>>>> http://ecomodder.com/forum/showthrea...ained-967.html

Figured it out. I basically assumed that the code never cleared up until I drove around with the ECU uncovered, displaying the LED. It was infact code 23 being diplayed, not 14. I guess the code cleared up and wen't away for some time now, but code 23 was being thrown. I'ma dummy.
