Default y7 block +z6 head + greddy turbo tdo4 HELP!

So just swapped a d16z6 head onto my d16y7 block with a greddy td04 kit. Only problem is I went to start the car and she cranks but won't fire. I'm getting fuel, I pulled the number one spark plug and got spark, and I know compression is good. I put my cam at 4 degrees retarded using an adjustable cam gear. Another thing I'm thinking is it could be the dizzy cuz its def not a z6 dizzy. Not really sure what model it is but its obd1. I'm even running the z6 harness, and p28 ecu. Im stumped. Either timing or dizzy is tweeked... Could it be that this dizzy could have different sparking contact points? Should I try settin cam gear to 4 degrees advanced? All insight would help thanx.

Are the plugs from the distributer connected to the correct plug?

use a z6/z1 (td42u) distributor, and check firing order

Well got her running. Surprisingly the plugs were in too tight lol. But got the 450cc injectors in and wired some resistors inline. Ecu its chipped on CP on a z6 turbo basemap. Heres my problem now.... She runs beautifully but one it comes too an idle it bounces between 0-1k it won't die but gets close too it... Any suggestions?

I would start by checking for vacuum leaks and cleaning out your IACV if it hasnt already been cleaned.

If your CROME basemap wasn't done right it'll do that surging thing. I know this firsthand. Had a local guy make me a CROME basemap and it did that. Got a basemap from Phearable and no more surging right up until the tune.

Well is it normal for only the idle to be off? Ima try to burp the engine for air in the coolant. It only happens when car is warm
