Default retro-ing ebay headlights

i asked this on HID planet, thought id ask here too

I bought a set of halo projectors a while back. At the time i bought them, http://www.theretrofitsource.com/ had a HID kit for halogen projectors. Well, it looks like they are no longer available, so my original plans are shot.

My question now is... would it be possible to fit a projector in these headlights without too much cutting?

trs has pnp kits but its not really going to help in those headlights.. output on those lights suck and the projectors arent meant to handle hids.. you could retro projectors in there but there isnt much room.. it would probably be easier to get some clear lens headlights and retro projectors in those those..

the thing is, i dont like the look of the projector mounted in a reflector. So im just hoping to squeeze a good projector in the ones i have.... i took some rough messurments to see what i can fit....

the lends is 2 1/2" in diameter. from the outer edge of the lends to the back of the housing is 5" and it looks to be about 4" wide in the housing

lens doesnt matter.. its the space the projector uses.. you wont see much of the reflector once you put the shroud over the prjector

if you do a retro into clear lens housings, then you most likely have to cut the shroud.. if you still want to use the housings you have now, you have to open them up to see what you can fit in there if anything
