hey guys, just like to say love the site but never really had an input etc.

Ok, browsing through the site i came across the H2B/H22 conversions.
It looks amazing, in Australia at the moment its not the "cool" thing to do. Could probably count the people with the conversion on 1 hand Most popular thing is B16/B18.

So far ive decided i would like to go with the H22 conversion and was wanting to do the 5 stud conversion at the same time.

Since the engine comes from a prelude, do i use the prelude 5 stud for the conversion because its from the same car, or do i use integra ones still?

Is it mix and match or from car to car so to say.

This site will help in regards to what im looking to do due to the high amout of people who have done the conversion, most aussie site cant really help with the conversion.

You would need a 5-lug conversion from a civic type-r to make the swap easiest. A prelude suspension and other components wouldn't even fit.

Simply, the suspension and engine are wholly separate entities and little consideration needs to be given to them in terms of compatibility. Occasionally their can be hub/axle issues but if you're going b-series anyway you shouldn't run into any problems.

Using the QSD kit makes the H2B conversion the easiest. The kit utilizes b-series mounts, and therefore b-series transmission position and axle angle. This prevents any axle issues or shifting issues that are sometimes experience with regular h22 hack-job swaps or even the other h2b kit (EVO) which has been known to have shifting issues in the past and requires you to use their own expensive mounts.

Yes. The benefit of the QSD H2B kit far outweighs the cost of the adapter kit.
