So I have a 99 ex, with a 99 si engine! Everything works perfect sounds freaking cherry. its at 1.5k rpm when i start up my car and let it warm up and all but probably lets say after 10-15 mins of driving when i come to a complete stop at a light it would go down so low to the point where m whole dash would shake and it is ****en annoying. I need to fix it i want it to run even more cheery help!!! please!!! every suggestion helps thx!!!

It's a chipped ecu my vtec cracks at 5. p28 chipped

 

Adjust the idle screw. Any CELS?

Already did took it to my friends shop his uncle did it and it i say runs a little better but it still idles so freaking low -.- as if it didnt help for sheet!

It was already chipped when I bought it. So i wouldn't know but hey im willing to throw some cash out to make my car run well. Anythign i should buy stock p28 ecu?

 

What? A P28 is not the proper ECU for that engine. Go to Phearable.net and have them burn a proper chip. $35.

What ECU is in it and how do you know it's actually chipped?

 

get a p30. or run a p30 basemap on the p28.
either way use phearable.net good place.

Good for you and with all due respect but I could care less about VTEC "cracking" since it isn't relative to the low idle issue. What ECU is in the car?
