Default Throwout

So I'm pretty sure my throw out bearing is going out because when ever I take my foot off the gas or shift down it bounces pretty good and makes a grindy sound. What do I need to fix this?

To start, actually describe a problem in detail. What you said doesn't make sense - What bounces? What is grinding? We can all assUme, but when we do that we waste our time had yours. Regardless, what you describe sounds like multiple problems and the throw-out bearing isn't one of them.

Well I'll explain it best I can. When I let my foot off the gas pedal as Im accelerating the car sort of jerks a bit and makes a grindy noise comin from the tranny and when ever I down shift it does the same thing except much worse. What more do you need to know..

It is ridiculous in 1st and 2nd, cruising through town in 3rd and I let off the pedal, it does it but not nearly as bad as the other two. Even in 5th on the free way it will do it but hardly. And yes I can feel the grinding through my shifter. Also, when my car is sitting it will frequently make the grindy sound coming from what I think is the tranny

Have you checked or replaced the tranny fluid lately?

I wasnt saying your fluid is bad, I'm just wondering if you're really low. Your discription isnt for the throwout bearing. I'd almost wanna say to check your synchro's.......but I highly doubt it's those.

Sounds like input shaft bearing or pressure plate spring to me.

If it were happening when you disengaged the clutch (pressed down on pedal), then maybe TO bearing , but that doesn't seem like what you described.
