O2 Sensor Issue
So basically I have a 92 civic hatchback with a f22b1 from an accord in it and Im trying to get it all hooked up but I noticed the connnector for the ho2s on the exhaust is different from the one one the exhaust manifold (its a wierd connection plug, and even if it wasn't I cant find anything to plug it into anyways) If anyone could help me out that would be great
- The First attached picture is of the regular plug on the manifold
- 2nd attached picture is of the abnormal plug on the exhaust
- 3rd attached picture is of what the abnormal plug on the exhaust looks like inside (was tought to see in the pictures) sorry for the bad quality-Iphone 2g

I am not particularly knowledgeable regarding civics but I believe in 1992 your factory wiring only supported 1 O2 sensor in the exhaust manifold, correct?
That being the case there would clearly be no provisions for a second, in this case downstream O2 sensor.
If you are using your civics wiring harness you will have to add the wiring from the downstream O2 sensor to the appropriate ecu pinout location for whatever ecu you are using.
If you retained the factory accord wiring harness and are using that, the downstream connector should be there, again if not you will have to make the appropriate connections to the ecu yourself.
As for pictures, number 2 and 3 they don't look like much of anything to me, aside from a rubber grommet and a cheapo blade connector.
I hope this helps.
I just thought of something else.
If this Accord motor is an obd2 motor which I believe it is, it would be benificial to you to convert it back to obd1, therefore eliminating the need for a second O2 sensor.
Obd1's only have one O2 sensor in the exhaust and none on the manifold.
There would however, be other changes you would need to make as well though.
Particularly the crankshaft position sensor location.
Let us know what year this motor is your working with.

The F22B1 the Lambda is not attached to the exhaust manifold, it is attached to a small section of pipe called the 'mid' pipe on B1(EX model) Accords, which is located directly below the intake manifold and before the catalyst. On '94-'97 Accords the O2 is heated and will be a multi-wire unit, three or four wire. If there is a secondary O2, it is after the catalyst then that is for an OBD II system that was used on a 96/97 Accords.
