Default Twin Wastegate Setups

I have extreme boost creep on my ramhorn manifold which has a 38mm wastegate on it.. i was wanting to add another 38mm wastgate.. but i am having trouble finding trying to find the 45degree neck like on the ac compatiable manifolds to buy to weld onto my manifold or should i just go with the 60mm but i am not sure what i should do?

The setup is gsr 2.0 on a 6266 making 591 on 18psi.. creeping to almost 25 very fast.. so i need to fix this issue.

What do you guys recommend?

What spring are you using in the wastegate? What kind of wastegate? Not an ebay one right?

38mm wastegate for that exhaust wheel isn't enough. Also when you upgrade to larger wg your going to need to make the tailpiece off the manifold larger to accommodate more flow to reduce boost creep.

Please post picture of the wg opening on the manifold. What manifold is it?

Also be sure your wastegate is opening. If its spiking very quick and in lower rpm then the wg could be not opening

The tuner said that i might have to port the wastegate housing and that might help it.. Or get a bigger wastegate.. I have a spoolin ramhorn manifold

You NEED a bigger wastegate, there is no maybe.

You're better off drilling the 38mm out to a 60mm gate, trying to add another gate is going to get cluttered.

the bigger the gate the better the control. if you can fit the 60mm, do it!

Bring it to. Welder or send it back to spoolin and get it retrofitted for the 60mm wg. They will put on a larger tailpiece and flange

If you're not trying to run boost by gear and 18psi is your desired pressure, you could try switching to an 18psi spring. I'm told that the key to controlling creep with a 38mm gate is to run a good, stiff spring. An 18lb. spring might do the trick.
