Hey everybody I'm currently in the middle of my first paint job. It is a 1994 civic coupe ex thats original color was milano red. So far I have sanded about 3-4 full paint jobs off the car and done most of the body work. The only problem is I cant decide what shade of red to paint it. My first thought was simply back to milano red..but then I saw a pic of a 2009 SI in rally red and I started considering that as an alternative....then the guy at the paint store suggested "viper red". I tried to google pics of a viper red civic and most of the ones I came up with had that cheap rice look to it.

What do you guys think? Milano red, rally red, or viper red?

I want that nice clean "better then stock" JDM look like in all the honda tuning magazines and everything.

I'll post some progress pics if anybody is intrested.

hey, heres a picture of my old car that actually had viper red on it... I liked it and got lots of compliments on the color. I know its a "ricer" but I was young lol

Milano red is the greatest shade of red Honda ever made. I love that color.

 

yes, defo go for the milano red, looks awsome. when i get mine done i was thinking of getting it in a gun metal grey or something. bright bold colours dont suit the ej2, you should have something a bit more stealthy. just my two cents

That looks fantastic in formula red! Just makes me cringe to think about how it'll look when the hood dents (as they all do).
