which cam?? i researched it....
Well i heard that cam with 265 duaration is adequater for the d16a6 motor...but i was wondering what Rpm will this cam pull up to?? I want a cam that will make power up to 7500 and not lose allot of bottom-end. Which Cam Manufacturer would you go with?? I particularly like Jg...but i heard they are regrinds and i heard bad things about that?? the only company that makes a cam for my car that isnt a regrind is Crane...well give me youre thoughts and such...Dyno charts are welcome...Thanks in advance
Nice name man!
Check out the honda saver cams, just do a search. I believe they made some great numbers on a d16z6, and are from the same people that make the crane cams. They even have a few more applications coming out.

I have been running the A6 motor for along time. andI have tried diff ones out there and JG has one of the best cams for the d16a6. as far as regrinds. they are good if done right. ii daily drove my d16a6 and it ran a 13 sec the first yr and 3yrs later, 100K miles later, it was still bustin some 13 sec times.
SOHC regrinds are great, but its the DOHC VTEC regrinds that dont last long, they wear out.
we have a cam that has a 260's duration(same one I was using) and it was still getting 35mpg. with our head package, this cam will get you between 25-35hp gain with IHE. on a stock block.
email me if you have any questions.
