Default Can't get cruise control to work after reinstall

I removed cruise control from my em1 while I was installing a nardi steering a few months ago, everything was functional at the time.

I removed the wheel and put everything back to stock but now cruise control won't work.

When I activate it the green cluster light comes on but the car just slows down, pressing set or reset doesn't do anything either.

It was so straight forward to remove it and now put back together, I'm confused as to what is wrong or where to even start.

The cluster light comes on when you push set/resume or when you hit the main cruise "on" button?

Any CEL codes?

Did you plug in the CC switches on the brake and clutch pedals?

By dash light, do you mean the CC light in the cluster or the light in the button to the left of the steering wheel?

Does the button light turn on when pressed? And can we assume that CC doesn't work?

are all vacuum lines and throttle cables hooked up correctly? was anything unplugged to the cc? are you running a stock throttle body?
