confused what type of fuel to use
i have a 96 h22a1 obd2 converted to obd1 in my 91 honda accord im using my ecu from my f22a1 because i havent got the p13 yet what type of fuel shoul i put it in?
Wait until you get the proper ECU before you drive it or when in doubt run 91!
The type of fuel really isn't going to make any difference if your using the wrong ECU. However, the H22A when operating with the proper PGM-FI system calls for the use of Premium UNLEADED/91 pump octane or higher........

Didn't say the ECU would change the compression. However the fuel and timing maps would be different. Or are you saying that the maps on a SOHC 8.8:1 CR F22A1 PT3 Non VTEC ECU are the same as those of the DOHC 10:1 H22 VTEC P13 ECU?

Im saying that the ECU in question will not retard timing. Running low octane fuel in and engine with anything over a static 9:1 CR that was not designed for it, will detonate. The fuel and spark maps are irrelevant in this case. Pretty basic engine fundamentals...
