Default b/7z6 help. wont start after head swap

so i picked up a d15b7 ej1 blew the head gasket. so while fixing that i figured i would throw a milled z6 head on there i had. after i get it on there it will crank but wont start. iv redone my timing 7 times, everytime it appears to be right. but im not 100% whats the dot on my water pump is for. do i need to use the z6 water pump or something,
i just bought a brand new z6 dizzy so im sure its not that.
im getting spark from my sparkplug wires. it just wont fire. and im pretty sure i have fuel also. i check the fuel pressure. any tips and hints as to what i could be doing wrong? its almost like theres no compression. but the car still had plenty of compression w/ a bad HG.
im stumped guys.

any questions you have that might help you figure out some things i could try will be answered right away.

are you using the stock p06 ecu still, it will never run with a z6 head/dizzy, need a p28 ecu. also, what timing belt are you using.

It will run just fine with a P06, it wont have vtec, but it will very definitely start and run.

Don't worry about the dot, I'm not sure what it's there for, but it doesn't figure into the timing, at all. You might want to do a compression test though. Perhaps the new headgasket didn't seal correctly.

Are the plug wires re-installed in the correct firing order?

Is spark bright white at all 4 spark plugs?

Are the injectors spraying fuel? Are they connected in the correct firing order?
