I KNOW i KNOW there is plenty of all motor b18b builds out there ... but i want specific help on what i want to do .... so im new to building my motor i had 3 hondas already but never went aftermarket... i want to build a all motor b18b i kind of wanna keep it a stock i dont want to hone out the motor maybe some p30 pistons i want crower cams maybe a skunk2 manifold and throttle body a aftermarket cam gear and i also wanted to know what are the basics that i have to do to my motor when you get a build i know the shop that builds the motor should tell me but i want to know the terms like honing or milling the head and all other terms like that ...i also would like to know how much a typical all motor simple build like this would be thanks everyone with all your help .... and please dont say just get a vtec head because i already have a whole ls swap i just wanna build this motor THANKS

Unless going with a boost application, most people "will" tell you to buy a vtec head....why? Because it has a much much higher flow rate, and usually adds a good 40-50hp even in stock form. Swapping the cylinder head on your B18b isn't too big a deal, and there are many write up's on how to do it.

Yes, adding high compression pistons will make more decent power regardless of which head you use

 

LS motor's are not worth building if it's going to be NA.

LS builds all motor dnt make good power. everything stated so far are true. LS boosted with small turbo make decent power. bigger turbo more turbo laggs to kick in. stcok LS tacks out at 7k rpm. big turbos kick in at 5500 give or take. a .63 A/R trim turbo with ramhorn manifold good size fmic good flowing intercooler piping 3" downpipe 440cc+ injectors a good itm looking at some decent power. beat all motor set ups.
