i'm new to hondas and just bought a 94 accord ex and a 96 civic ex, my question is that i have read that i am not to use bosch sensors or sparkplugs? why and what will happen if i do use them? probably a simple question but just curious as to why.

 

Bosch plugs and o2 sensors are garbage. I stick with NGK sparkplugs or Denso, and I always stick with Denso o2 sensors. Bosch just make your car run like **** and they usually don't last long. If you wanna make your car last long use quality parts.

 

Some people will argue for and against. Horror stories and success stories alike. Honestly I just get the Denso brand and buy from Rockauto.com. They're pretty much stock replacements and the plug and play versions are only usually $65 shipped.

 

Also Autozone is a good place to get parts too. Usually they give out gift cards when you spend a certain amount with online purchases.
