Default Ground Control with stock shocks - good or bad?

I'm investigating going to GC coilover sleeves with stock shocks (since koni yellows aren't yet available) - anybody running this combination? I plan on continuing my road-racing at HPDE's with this and wanted to get a stiffer ride with less body roll. With that in mind, I also daily-drive the car and don't want it rattle-my-teeth stiff.
I'll be running 17" 225/45 Azenis and have some concerns with rubbing, too. If the car is lowered, has anyone had any problems with rubbing?

BTW- Yes, I tried a search on "Ground Control" in the RSX forum before starting the thread - no results returned.

I have had the GC's and stock struts for about 8 months and 15,000 miles. I don't see the stock struts lasting much longer. They have become real bouncy and handling sucks.
