Well guys...the EK had been collecting dust for some time while we decided what in the world we were going to do with it? As some of you may know I have roots in drag racing but, my true passion is on the road course. So why not build a road race car to go out and have some fun while showcasing our drivetrain skills? We have had the pleasure of building transmissions for some of the fastest cars in our industry. Now its time for us to go fast!
First on the list was to send it over to the very talented Jason Whitfield of Whitfield Racing to get started on the cage. He is an awesome fabricator to say the least and is well known in the drag racing community with all his accomplishments. So I decided to give him a break from the drag scene while trying to persuade him to join the dark side. Well take a look at what he has began to create! There is much more that will be coming from the team there. Its an all in one shop with so much talent in one place.
Next on the list will be paint which I will be doing once the cagework is complete. We have gathered up a great group of sponsors and supporters of the project and would like to thank the following for their past, present and future contributions: Whitfield Racing, Kiwi@Special Projects Motorsports/Gear-X, Loi@Sportcar Motion, Brian@Hasport, Mark@OS Giken, and the whole Gearspeed/ H&A Transmissions gang for making this dream become a reality!
I will be updating the plans as we go along to keep everyone posted. Please be patient!

Its nice to see so many getting into road racing or transitioning from drag to road recently.
What sanction are you planning to run in? I assume Honda Challenge because of your location.
