4th Gen SI alternator replacement
New Prelude owner here. I have a 1993 Prelude Si, manual transmission. I need to replace the alternator. I found the general repair manual online, but I didn't see anything in it that detailed how to specifically remove the alternator (I'm not a car guy either, maybe I didn't know where to look? I searched for "alternator" throughout the whole manual, however, and didn't see anything.) Is there anyone here who can either give me step by step instructions as to how to get to the alternator, or that has a link to a file that does? I tried searching the forums, but got 250 results, none of which seemed to be what I was looking for.
Is it the h22 motor the f22 motor the h23 motor? I just changed my alternator I jave the h22 if your standing on front of the car looking at the bay look at the right top side of your motor there is a pulley with a bracket that would be your power steering look under that there is another pulley that is your alternator it is very simple to remove

follow the steps shown for belt replacement. the same bolts that you have to loosen on the alternator will be completely removed instead of just loosening. thats pretty much the only difference. if you have trouble with it, try getting a friend to help.
