tranny question
i bought a h23a transmission and the code on the bar code is s2a4 and I thought h23a is m2a4 i think i got ripped off. Anyone know i think the s2a4 is probably and accord tranny. I dont think it will make a huge difference and its still a new tranny but i need to know
i think its for the non VTEC h23 it said it was out of the 92-96 non VTEC prelude i just want to make sure im not super dissapointed if its the accord tranny just trying to find out
That is the 2.2CL tranny and a very nice one you have IMO. Similar to overall feel of the H23, that trans has a higher final than the Accord tranny's - it is similar to the Accord wagon tranny but a little more aggressive gear ratios.

Yes and yes (as said above) - depending on the clutch kit you have you may want to consider getting a new (they are cheap) replacement flywheel or a fresh lightened unit.
I run a 8lb Fidanza with an Exedy replacement and its great for daily (my wife drives it actually).
