Anyone have a Do-Luck type floor brace?
After my home made c-pillar bar turned out really well, I was thinking about attempting to make a floor brace.
Does anyone have any pics of one installed? Do they actually make a noticeable difference? Believe it or not, my c-pillar bar made the whole rear of my car feel much more stable when coming out of corners.
Thanks,
Adam

Thanks for the interest
I have pics, but unfortunately they are still waiting to be developed. I'll try and get them done at a one hour place tonight so I can post them.
Funny thing is, I work for an engineering firm and the only thing I used AutoCAD for was to throw some ideas around on how to make mounting brackets... it was a little tricky to come up with the proper angle of the c-pillar (I didn't want to have to cut any plastic to install the bar.)
After it was finished, I polished it to add a bit to the "bling" factor... lol.
Anyway, I'll try and get some pics up asap.
So, anyone here have a floor brace?

Adam

Nice...I dont need one...My roll bar serves the same purpose
It has 4 mounting points makes it a whole lot stiffer...but that looks nice...do you ever get the question "what hell is that for"? just wondering....

MugenGTR, unfortuneately I don't have the .dwg file anymore.
It probably wouldn't have helped you out much, because I have a DA integra.
And, if I told you how badly I "half-assed" the brackets, you'd laugh... If you look at them, it almost looks like they came off a cnc machine.. but they didn't.
I work for a major consulting firm in ontario canada that specializes in building services design (HVAC, plumbing, drainage, etc..) So, I design building systems.. It probably sounds a lot worse than it actually is.
If you have access to a machine shop, I know someone else DID in fact post cad files on here showing how they made their c pillar bar. Just do a search and I'm sure it will come up. If I remember correctly, the bar was for an EH but it should fit the DC chassis Integras as well, I'd imagine.
HTH!
S13 Slide, thanks for the pics!
Did the bar seem to make a noticeable difference? Is that a do-luck bar, or some other brand?
