Itr for sale at bridgewater acura, NJ
I've been looking for r's for sale and they have a py with 28k on it. Has anyone local to there seen this car in person? It has a couple mods shown in the pics. Also the headlights are tinted yellow lol. I live in new orleans so checking it out in person isn't an option. Thanks in advance.
Don't bother, I'm here
When I saw it, it was about to get "detailed and restored". I have not seen the car after the cleaning, so I can't tell you anything about how it looks currently.
Before, it was pretty clean, but it had some aftermarket stuff:
- Previous owner was a teen
- Previous owner fog-light-yellow tinted the hi-beams and turn signals
- No name exhaust
- AEM CAI
- Lowered a little bit
- Couple of noticeable scuffs on the front bumper and limp
- Some rusting on the brake calipers
They originally wanted $20,000 for the car but according to the ad I put below, it has since dropped to $15,599. I'm sure you can talk them down to $15,000. Don't know how much more they'd budge. The previous owner traded it in for an 8th gen FA5 Si.
Personal opinion after seeing the car: nothing that has been done cannot be reverted back to stock. I say go for it if you can find a safe place to put it. The interior is very mint, I was pleased sitting in that car.
EDIT: Here is the link to the ad.
They cleaned up the paint imperfections nicely, rusting is still on the rear caliper (shown in one of the pics).

Thanks for the reply. It's interesting because I just sold my fa5 to get a type r lol. Besides the caliper did you notice any other rust on the car? That's the main concern because I know salt will rust parts quick if not cleaned off. I have a nice garage here in new orleans to keep heR safe.
I drive past there all the time! I remember when they used to always have type r's there and a few nsx's. Good dealership though thats where I got my gsr years back.

Didn't get the chance, they were about to clean it up so I didn't want to keep them waiting. Plus, I've got a 97, why would I ever want to drive an 01
Idle sounded fine (if that means anything
). I did blip the throttle a few times while I was looking at it, sounded normal.
