17x8 +35 clearance issues?
Hello i'm currently looking at wheel setups for my em2, and been searching around to find some info before making any purchase. A certain wheel that caught my eye is a the ESM-004 which is a BBS LM replica wheel. I was just wondering would there be any issues fitting them onto my car it's a 2004 honda civic coupe ex sitting at stock height and suspension, also would there be any other problems like 4x4 status or too much poke etc.? Lowering the car is definetely on the to do list but money is a little tight so i'm taking things one step at a time for now. I'm thinking of going with a 235 40 17 tire and the wheels specs are 17x8 +35, if anyone can help i really appreciate it! also open to other suggestions of wheels and tires. Thank you very much and have a good one.
Have you done anything to the fenders/quarter panels to increase wheel/tire clearance? Are you planning on running a fair amount of negative camber? Are you looking to run some sort of widebody or fender flares?
If the answer is "no" to all the above, then the simple answer is that they won't fit your car. To fit that size tire on your car is going to require at least rolling the fenders and running some negative camber.

Thanks guys i figured as much, i'm really into the wider wheels but i'd rather do everything right the first time around, and make it look good. I appreciate the help though.
