I'm trying to run a CAI on my 99 Ex and I know you have to drop the front bumper to install the lower half on the intake. Can someone show me the write on how to drop the front bumper. I tried to search for it but I didn't find anything.

you didn't search very hard.
theres tons of writeups(its like 10 bolts you don't need a writeup for that) that involve removing the bumper.

bolts on top two on the bottom usually and one in the wheel well. done.

The only write up I came across was on ef bumper removal. This is my first time doing a removal so I wanted to make sure I'm doing everything right.

man its so easy, take off your grill, there are two tabs to remove, then there are two screws inside the fender, after that the bumper comes right off.

make sure you have some cardboard down so you dont scratch the paint

 

Can't you go in from the passenger wheel well, like on every other Civic? Removing the wheel lining is way easier than dropping the bumper.
