OK, why do they have 2 different bulb recommendations for the high mount brake light?

# 7440
21W 765 lumens ~2000 hours lifespan

vs

# 921b
18W 264 lumens ~1800 hours lifespan

why even give the consumer a choice?

I was checking a friend's lights while mounting the license plates & noticed that his lights didn't work. So I popped the trunk, turn the socket out of the plastic housing & gave him the bulb to replace it...


will 3W really make a difference? yea brighter is better...

I know in other makes/ models, the required bulb (cough chevy cavalier) had too high of a bulb that it melted the plastic housing back there

just curious what bulb # you got in your accord (it only took me 2 seconds to pull the socket out of the housing)
