Default H2B oil pan/oil pickup issues

I don't want to invest in building the block/head when the oil system isn't adequate.

Are people having issues with the bottom angle and the oil pickup being too high? I'm not adding extra oil for it to slosh around on my crank as I have heard people doing.

What should I do?

Its 2012 and there isn't an off the shelf item available that I am aware of. Do I keep waiting(for a short amount of time) or do I figure out a way to fab one for myself?
Maybe buy a Moroso aluminum pan and cut it up and add pieces? Then extend the pickup tube?

Does anyone have an original KS pan they are selling? I haven't yet seen one for sale.

not sure about the angle of the qsd kit, but w/ the evo kit there is no problem w/ oil pickup and no need to add extra oil. the only thing i would suggest is relocating the oil drain plug to the front of the pan which allows all of the oil to be drained.

Having to get someone in the UK to modify my stock pickup and oil pan. Will let you know how it goes as I too have big concerns about this aspect. Especially when I intend on tracking it (autocross)

I bought the Kaizenspeed oil pan but you can always just cut your pan out, extend the bottom and make it level and extend the pickup down. A good welder should be capable of this

Can I use an aluminum h22a4 oil pan on my H22A?

Would be a lot easier on the eyes to fab a new bottom on that than the steel pan.
