Default 1994 Honda Civic Mods

I've been screwing around with my civic for the past few months coming up with original ideas to make my civic look unique. First I fixed all the CEL's with the information in this forum. Then I did some wire tucking and soldering and covering. I found some topics and painted my valve cover wrinkle black instead of doing the typical "type r red" that everyone seems to dislike. I did some white silicone rad hoses and clear distributor which look pretty sick. I was planning on painting my trunk lid and hood black because some idiot drilled holes into the trunk for a spoiler and the hood is flat black ( I don't care for it) but instead as I was grinding down through the paint I put swirls into the bare metal and clear coated it, I'm going to do the same for the hood next week when I finish the valve cover. I'd like opinions on doing Halo lights and more inexpensive mods.

More pictures to come soon enough!

do NOT put halo lights in your car. rice is in no way "original," and will most likely get you laughed at.

Ya I guess I did forget to mention its a b16a2 engine, has a AEM fuel rail I believe and just a shitty cold air intake which I'll be replacing soon, any ideas on cold air? I was thinking of going with weapon r, most people don't have those and they look really nice. I read about the halo lights off ebay being really shitty and hard to position correctly because of the unified 2 pc design over the 4 piece OEM design. I found some nice black headlights though : http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?...m=220940080951

I've been debating not polishing the hood because I was told by someone that the reflections off the hood would basically make it impossible to see the road and any input is considered constructive so no worries

Dont need the fuel rail. Get any name brand cai I actually have one for sale lol..don't get a weapon r intake. And I wouldn't get any headlights off eBay they will all suck if they aren't OEM

So I just bought a 93 Civic and need to get it going quick, its got a d16z6 in it right now that is definitely done, it knocks loudly, ac exploded, rad burnt up, oil everywhere. I need a used engine for it quick and was wondering if anybody could point me in the right direction as to getting one. Should I get one that was imported, should I get one locally (Saskatoon) or should I rebuild. Once again looking for the cheapest option and quickest.

Cheapest doesn't always mean the best option. Trust me I learned the hard way.
Car-part.com, CL, Hmotorsonline.com.....etc are good starting points.
In the end it's mainly up to you as no one can make the decision but you.

ya youre right it would, but its too late now I found a b18c1 out of an integra gsr for 500 bucks, it comes with the engine, tranny, wiring harness and a couple of other things sounds like a pretty decent buy.
